This toy was a surprise success. We thought our baby would use the tambourine by shaking the frog and that'd be it. Instead, he rolled it on the wood floors (and later on carpeted floors at places we visited). He absolutely loved this game of chase-the-frog! He'd roll it across the room and under furniture -- the more he had to crawl under, over and between things to retrieve it, the more fun he had!

I was surprised at how tiny this tambourine really was, and even more surprised that my son is absolutely in love with it. At 9 months I'm actually using it to replace some of his rattles. The bell-like noise it makes is so refreshing- for both him and I!
