The Stockmar beeswax block crayons are ideal for smaller children, as they fit a child's hand particularly well. Older artists enjoy using the blocks, too, as they can easily apply color to a large surface, or use the edge of the block to paint fine lines.

The Stockmar beeswax stick crayons are slightly larger than traditional crayons. The larger size helps young children to learn how to color with stick crayons, as well as aiding the artist to move the crayon freely.

My 17-month-old daughter loves these crayons and I don't need to worry about small parts (unless a tip breaks). They are easy to manipulate and I love that they are made from beeswax.

I have a three year old and she loves these. We have had them for a year.She uses and abuses these. None have broken, and she loves the color. The mix of the blocks and the sticks gives her different experiences. The tin is heavy duty to and makes a great case for them. We will have these great crayons for years to come. Very impressed!
