Very young children will start playing with this tray puzzle by grasping the knobs and removing the pieces from the board. Soon they will start to put the pieces in their proper places. Behind each piece is a picture to discover and talk about. These pictures provide opportunities to develop a whole world of stories. This safari puzzle is also a jigsaw puzzle.

As I watched my son play with one of the Chelona Discovery Puzzles for the first time, I was slightly mesmerized by the beauty of the puzzle. The pictures are so perfectly "childhood" that it was easy to see why he took apart and put the puzzle together five times in a row!
